DescriptionAt center, three men hold a tied-down cow, one is branding it. At right center, one man is on the house holding a rope and another is heating the branding iron in fire; they are all in a corral. Three cows watch in the foreground, and another small herd is along the edge of corral. Small hills and a pueblo are in the background. At left center margin, outside of the image is a partial sketch of a cow. On right margin is a small sketch of two running cows and a large sketch of a bull, below in the bottom right corner. On verso is a reverse tracing of the image.
