DescriptionThe image is dominated by three figures: a large male figure with a mantel thrown over his right shoulder, a female draped on the male figures left arm, and a skeletal figure draped in black. The male figure is central to the three and is facing the right edge of the canvas, holding up his right arm warding off the skeletal figure holding a scythe on the right. The female figure is on the left, clothed in white, her head back and her right arm hanging at her side. An arch way frames the three figures. On View
