DescriptionA primitive bridge made out of planks of wood spans a small body of water in the foreground of the image. The bridge connects on the shore to an earthen path and on the right a youthful figure sits with one leg tucked up and one leg dangling in the water. The path continues between grasses to the middle ground where a stick fence can be seen on both the left and the right. A tree with three birds flying above is in the left background.
