BiographyBorn May 19, 1947, in Reed City, Michigan. Graduated Farwell High School, Farwell, Michigan, 1965. Graduated, Northern Michigan University, Marquette, Michigan, 1969. Taught High School Art, Fennville, Michigan, 1969-1972. Graduate Assistantship, Mankato State College, 1972-1973. Master of Arts Degree, Mankato State College, 1974.

of Ormond Beach, Florida, was born in Reed City, Michigan; studied at Northern Michigan; studied at Northern Michigan University (B.S., education), Mankato State University in Minnesota (M.A., studio art/glass-blowing), and Brigham Young University (M.F.A., ceramics); and taught at Daytona Beach Community College in Florida since 1990. Deegan's sculpture is done in bronze, glass, and clay, and his themes are visionary and spiritualist with both surrealist and expressionist qualities. (b. May 19)
