Biographywas born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and raised in Aurora, Colorado. He received a B.F.A. at Notre Dame University in Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, and an M.F.A. at Brigham Young University (1980). He studied at the Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico, becoming a Tamarind Master printer. He does traditional hand-printed color lithography and is considered the best master printer in Utah. He has worked at BYU's Harris Fine Arts Center and Brimhall Galleries. He now lives in Springville, Utah. (b. April 15)
