DescriptionA landscape of flat agricultural fields provides a setting for the female figure that dominates the image. The female figure is dressed in a white button-front short sleeve blouse, dark skirt, blue apron, and a blue bandana covers her hair; she is holding a sickle in her right hand and walks barefooted along a thin dirt path. Behind the figure, fields extend back to a structure and foliage on the horizon line; two large haystacks are on the left.
