DescriptionThe image is an agricultural landscape in which the foreground is composed of a large golden grain field which on the left side is unharvested but in the center and the right side it has been harvested and sheaves of the grain have been stacked in shocks in a row on the right. Under the shadow of the first shock a basket and barrel are nestled; two male figures work centrally in the field. Beyond the field a line of green trees and shrubs spans the width of the canvas behind which is a mountain range with blue sky above.
