DescriptionThe image is a landscape of a farm scene with the foreground consisting of a plowed field laying fallow with drying grasses fringing the back edge. Beyond the grasses a green field makes a band of green that extends horizontally across the canvas. In the middle ground a group of structures are clustered together, the largest, left of center, being a white two story building with a shed roof. A low slung structure on the far right has some object, possibly a small silo, which adds a shock of red. Behind the structures mountains suddenly rise up with a sky atmospheric with clouds.
