DescriptionThe image is a barren winter landscape with both the foreground and the middle ground consisting of flat open fields of brown grasses peeking through snow. In the middle ground small trees dot the landscape and in the center there is the suggestion of some structures. In the background gray mountains covered in snow form a valley left of center where the dark clouds in the sky brighten.
