DescriptionThe image is a landscape executed in muted tones of brown and rust in which the foreground consists of a clearing within a woods with a lone dark figure placed just right of the center. Barren trees, just a hint of autumnal foliage still clinging to branches, fill in the middle ground on the left and the right with a small opening near the center that allows passage into the background of silhouetted trees. The sky above is filled with clouds that brighten in the center with back filled light.On View
