DescriptionThe image is a landscape consisting of a foreground covered in natural grasses and/or low ground cover; in the middle ground, on the left, a cluster of trees spans from the left edge of the support to the center of the composition; on the right a grouping of trees extends to the upper edge of the support completely filling the right side visual space. Just right of center a break between the two groups of trees provides an opening into the distant horizon line where the sky is colored in muted golden tones gradually ascending to the blue sky above; a crescent moon is placed midway between the golden lower and the blue upper.
