DescriptionThe image is a landscape dominated by a large river that fills the middle ground and the lower left corner of the composition; the lower right corner shows a portion of the sandy river bank with tuffs of grass. The bank on the far side of the river is filled with varied size purple toned shrubs, the visual weight left of center. The yellow tones of the sky reflect in the water below.
