DescriptionThe image is a landscape of a park-like garden in which a calm river flows from the lower left into a body of water in the center of the visual plane. Groupings of trees with shrubs and flowers around their bases fill in both the left and right sides of the composition. A single willow tree is placed on the right bank of the river slightly leaning to the left over the water. Groups of fowl and animals are scattered throughout the garden; two deer stand under a palm tree on the left, swans float on the river amongst water lilies, a duck and her ducklings also float in the foreground of the river, cattle graze on the left bank of the river in the middle ground, and a flock of large birds, herons or cranes, can be seen on the right. On View
