DescriptionA barren rocky foreground is the setting for two leafless trees, the one on the left taller than the one on the right. In between the trees a horse stands, a red saddle blanket thrown across its back. Behind the trees and horse a dark river runs horizontally across the entire canvas. On the far side of the river more barren ground gives way to a plateau in the background. Cloudless blue rises above the plateau.On View
