DescriptionThe image is a landscape with a water element within it, land filling the left side of the canvas and water on the right. The foreground consists of pasture grass on which, to the left, a herd of cattle graze, and to the right, a dog stands looking out over the water. In the middle ground cattle have waded into the water and a small sailboat can be seen further out on the right. In the middle center a second group of cattle graze and, to the left, trees fill the visual space. Trees and shrubs fill in the horizon line on the left and in the center, on the right structures, including a windmill, appear on the far shore of the water. On View
