DescriptionThe installation will feature four monitors playing sequences that respond to one another, as if in video dialogue. The images on the screens will show thoroughfares on Sydny streets that include: street furniture, pavements, and public parks. From the collected images an array of 30 sculptural objects ( eg. detour signs, flashing lights) will accompany the video images. They will work to recreate a virtual street scene within the gallery. The street signs will orient the viewer's movements, especially the use of lights. Emphasis will be placed on movement and tension familliar to the urban environment.On View
