DescriptionThe image depicts two figures, one male and one female, standing in the midst of an enclosed garden. The male figure, on the left, stands with his hands slightly out from his body and an aureole behind his head; he is clothed in a blue under robe with a red outer robe. The female figure, on the right, is turned to look at the male figure; she clutches a handful of fabric from her long white gown in her left hand. The center of the garden is grass while around the edges of the lawn are roses, yellow aster-like flowers and white lilies. A wooden shed can be seen behind the female figure and a wooden rail fence behind the male.On View
