DescriptionThe image is an interior scene of a sparsely furnished room; on the left are a bed, a desk, two ladder-back chairs, and two windows with white drapery, on the right there is a fireplace with a male figure laying on the floor in front of it and some coats hanging on the wall. At the end of the room three standing male figures cluster around a partially opened door, one stands behind the door and the other two stand in front of the opening. An additional male figure can be seen through the doorway and smoke begins to filter in.On View
