DescriptionA large road dominates the center of the painting, the road diminishing into the horizon line. A large arch with a sculptural eagle at its center peak spans the roadway. The left side of the road is lined with mature trees, the right side has younger, smaller trees. The right of the work also contains a building and what appears to be a telegraph pole.
