    DescriptionThe image is a portrait consisting of a seated female figure, a juvenile figure and a dog figure; the female figure is central to the composition and she is clothed in a white empire gown with a pink scarf or shawl around her shoulders. The figure has dark hair and raises her left arm into the air while holding a bunch of grapes in her hand; her right arm is circled around the juvenile figure. The juvenile figure has his head turned toward the female and he is clothed in a one-piece off the shoulder jumpsuit and black shoes. To the left of the pair is a black and white Spaniel. The grouping is set in an interior scene however a backdrop portrays an exterior scene.
