DescriptionThe image is a mountainous landscape. The scene depicts a large mountain in the background and brush and grasses in the foreground. There is a cluster of orange bushes in the center foreground of the painting with green and brown grasses growing around it. There is a patch of orange and brown grass with a small bush in the lower left corner. There are also green bushes on the right edge of the painting. In the background, the mountains are jagged and shadowed. There are two layers or rows of mountains. The first layer is painted in red and brown tones; the second and most distant layer of mountains is painted in cooler, grey tones and its peaks reach approximately three fourths of the way up the image. The strip of sky at the top of the image contains swirling, white clouds and deep blue patches of sky. On View
