DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which structures fill the middle ground of the visual plane. The right three-quarters of the foreground consists of flat land with a suggestion of natural vegetation, including three trees, while on the left a dirt road curves towards a grouping of structures that span the middle ground. The buildings stagger in height; beginning at the far left a shorter roof line steps up to the tallest building which has two windows, the center building situated with its gable end facing the viewer has a window like opening directly under the gable, and on the right the shortest building has a shed roof that slopes down to the right. The sky is atmospheric with clouds. On View
