DescriptionDominating the image is a young male figure seated cross legged on a forest floor at the base of a large tree trunk. Facing to the left of the canvas his face is in profile, his hands busy replacing a feather on an arrow, and his feet are bare. He wears brown knickers, a light shirt, red kerchief, and a brimmed hat. In the foreground, at the figure's side, are a bow, arrows, a dead bird, and, to the right, a pocket knife. Green foliage fills in the background. On View
