BETH ANNE ANDERSEN

born 1954
Biographyof Boise, Idaho; Provo and Ogden, is a mixed-medial artist, printmaker, pastellist, and educator. She attended Brigham Young University (B.F.A., M.F.A.) where she has also been a part-time faculty member. Andersen also studied in Hawaii and Europe and was working in a primativistic form of geometrically inclined abstract surrealism by 1980. Her work seems childlike and sophisticated all at once. It is very rich in texture; some would call it "symbolist."

Bethanne Andersen was born in Ogden, Utah. She currently resides in Boise, Idaho. She received her MFA from BYU, and Bethanne currently teaches illustration in the Brigham Young University Visual Arts Department.
