NANCY LUND

BiographyLund, Nancy Allen (1931-). This painter of flowers and other colorful elements in nature is a Bountiful, Utah, resident. Well known for her paintings for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcasts, Lund has studied under Ed Maryon (q.v.), Harrison Groutage (q.v.), Doug Snow (q.v.), and Richard Van Wagoner (q.v.). She has been a member of the Associated Utah Artists and is today a member of the Utah Watercolor Society and the Intermountain Society of Artists. She exhibited her work at Brigham Young University and Southern Utah State College (SUU); in galleries in Memphis, Tennessee, and Carmel, California; as well as Bountiful, Salt Lake City, and elsewhere in Utah. Nancy Lund's sisters, Lanny Barnard (q.v.), and Jennie Creer (q.v.), are also gifted artists. (b. February 21)
