In the foreground many dead bodies lay on the ground; Custer (dressed in brown and wearing a brimmed hat) is standing in the center, facing away from the viewer. There is a man in red kneeling next to him, aiming a gun, also facing away from the viewer. In the background men fight on horseback surrounded by smoke and dust/dirt.
