DescriptionThe object is a bronze sculpture of a male Native American figure seated on a horse. The figure wears a single feather upright in his hair, a loin cloth, moccasins, and a bow strapped to his back. The figure raises his right hand up to his forehead as if to shield his eyes from the sun. He holds thin reins in his left hand, close to his waist. The horse has no saddle but wears a primitive bridle; the horse stands with its front legs even and straight but its rear right leg is positioned further back than the left. The horse's tail blows away from the body.On View
