    DescriptionThe image is a landscape in which the foreground is a valley floor consisting of bare earth that becomes green with grass as it recedes, trees filling the width of the canvas. Behind the trees red clay ground dotted with green brush ascends up to the base of a large rock mountain, the lower half being the red clay color and the upper half without color. In the distant on the right another mountain can be seen.
