DescriptionThe image is a waterscape in which the foreground consists of land that extends visually into the harbor waters that surround it; on the land are two structures, the larger is a center chimney colonial with a shed addition on the left, and the smaller is a free-standing shed on the right. In the harbor a four masted sailing ship is anchored, the bottom of the vessel near the waterline is red, the upper portion is black. In the distance dense woodland foliage fills in the background with additional structures on the right.On View
