DescriptionThe image is a snowscape in which a body of water fills the central space of the composition, visually exiting the work in the lower right corner. The banks of the water and the extending land is blanketed with snow; two snow laden barren trees frame the water in the foreground, in the left middle ground a line of trees follow the water's edge. In the distance a mixture of structures and trees fill in the horizon line.
