DescriptionThe image is a snowscape in which an undulating open space has been blanketed in heavy snow and a barren tree stands alone on the right side of the canvas. Two large rocks, one directly in front of the tree and one on the left of the canvas, have been covered in snow with small sections that have melted away to expose the rock underneath. In the background a line of winter trees follow the crest of a hill.On View
