DescriptionThe image is a winter scene depicting two human figures in a snowy landscape. The image is dominated by a snow-covered path and a hill jutting out to the left of it. The male figure on the left has their back turned to the audience and wears dark pants, an orange shawl-like cloth, and a flat hat. The female figure on the right is turned to face the other, and is dressed in dark clothing and wears a head wrap. She also carries an oil paper umbrella. A white tree extends from the right middle edge of the work across to the upper right portion of the work. In the background, to the left, there is a body of water with snowy hills behind it. Small white marks, snow, cover the work. There are Japanese characters in the upper right portion of the work, as well as in the lower left.On View
