DescriptionAn oil painting of a male figure is down on one knee looking up towards the corner of the painting. By his right leg is a white object, possibly a turban or headpiece. His right arm is out to the side, while the left is raised over his head. On the left next to the male figure is a female figure, kneeling on the ground with her face in her hands. On the left side of the painting is a fire or alter. In the top left corner in the sky is a divine figure, in white, and with wings. They are flying in the air with their arms raised in front of them and looking off towards the left support of the painting. Buildings are seen in the distance in the center of the work. On both sides of the buildings are a cluster of green trees and foliage. The upper right corner of the piece is all sky.On View
