To the left of the divine male figure is another male figure in a red cap with the scroll and his hand on it, his other hand is pointing to the young divine figure in conversation. Behind the man in the red cap is an older male figure with his hand cupping his ear listening. There are others behind the male figure listening in on the conversation. On the right side of the painting, are two other male figures, standing up and observing the scene before them. There are seven figures in total in this work. In the upper right corner a section of sky is seen through the architecture.
