DescriptionThis is the center panel of the triptych. It depicts a battle scene occurring inside a building with a snowy landscape scene visible in the background. The conflict occurs between figures wearing black and white samurai-like armor and figures wearing bluish peasant-like clothing. The armored figures carry swords and spears and there are various items of furniture knocked down or destroyed throughout the scene. In the center is a group of peasant figures who appear to be tied up together with legs flailing. There is a dividing wall placed left of center separating two sides of the room. There is one figure hiding in the rafters of the building. On View
