DescriptionThe painting depicts Lehi's dream from the Book of Mormon. The foreground has a male figure standing to the left with his hands cupped and extended holding white fruit. A tree behind him bears the white fruit. Next to the figure, at waist height runs a pole horizontally across the visual plane. On the right, holding onto the pole, are a woman kneeling and three men standing. The middle ground is a large body of water. The background is a large white building with a wide center staircase coming up from the water. People are seen going up the stairs and entering the building.
