DescriptionThe image is a landscape with trees and a stream in the middle ground and a mountain in the background on the right side of the image. The foreground is shadowed and covered in dirt and yellow-green grasses. There is a cluster of tall trees in the middle ground on the left side of the work that is painted in sunlight. They have golden yellow leaves and their branches extend beyond the top of the work. A stream flows horizontally across the work just behind these trees; it is more visible on the right half because the trees are painted in front of the stream on the left half. Behind the stream there are more trees with golden-yellow leaves. In the background, there is a mountain that slopes downward from the upper right corner toward the center of the left edge of the work. The portion of sky that is visible is light blue with fluffy, white clouds. On View
