DescriptionThe foreground of the image is low, green foliage with highlights of yellow through which a dirt road cuts at a slight diagonal. On the far side of the road, left of center on the canvas, there is a log cabin that is placed facing the road. The cabin has a central door and a window on the right. Behind the right back corner of the cabin stand two teepees, the larger one closet to the viewer has a visible doorway opening with a figure standing next to it. At the front left corner a third teepee stands. The sky, which fills the upper half of the painting, is clear and cloudless.On View
